Re: Zimbra 8.8.12 http to https not working

Start with nginx... that is where the listen on the appropriate ports will happen. I would begin with this which I believe you have. netstat -nl Verify that the ip's and ports are what is expected. If not, I would move to nginx config files to see what it has listed. An example: cd /opt/zimbra/conf/...

Re: Subject editing based on email headers...

Hi Jim, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I wasn't clear on this statement? Given you probably digitally sign your domains, it would be harder to spoof and an additional clause could strengthen against FN/FP's? Hi David, That was in reference to some pseudo-code you had written to strengthe...

Re: Subject editing based on email headers...

Hi David, I am thinking about this but nothing yet pops out... A few idea and questions. I am leaning toward amavisd/SA to do this. A few ideas. 1) Given you probably digitally sign your domains, it would be harder to spoof and an additional clause could strengthen against FN/FP's? 2) It would be po...

Re: How to find source of attack on Amavis

You might try this: % grep -R tigressssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssr7.com /opt/zimbra/data/amavisd/tmp/ If you get a hit, take a look at the email.txt file in the appropriate directory for patterns. You should have a few of them if you ar...

Re: Zimbra 8.7.11 Patch 14 doesn't upgrade ClamAV?

yum update ... worked here to upgrade clamAV Did you remember also to upgrade via apt-get or yum? That is where the clamAV upgrade comes from and not patch 14 itself. They updated their repositories along with creating a patch 14. Really odd method of upgrades I grant you compared to how it worked y...

Re: External Spam Filter Per Domain or CoS

I am confused with what you are reporting. We don't have any problem with zimbra amavis/SA stripping headers from our external MX's. We have these external MX's (non zimbra) add custom spam headers that we score with various meta rules within Zimbra's SA. Could you be more specific with what headers...

Re: Unable to access Zimbra WebUI after 8.8.15P3 upgrade

Is nginx running? If not, verify the hostname lookup didn't fail. Generally, zmproxyconfig is how you assign the ports and get nginx to listen on them and then proxy requests to the services/ports. Link below has about everything you need to know to get nginx setup correctly. Ref: https://wiki.zimbr...

Re: Strange Behavior On An HTML Email

Sounds like it could be css/display ... see this thread to see if that is it. https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=66613 With recent patches, there is suppose to be a method to allow us to work around this problem. This is the text that showed up in many of the recent release notes for...
