Upgrade 8.0.7 to 8.5.0, RHEL 6 - Successful?

I upgraded from 8.0.7 to 8.0.5 on RHEL6.5 64-bit without issue.

Not that I'd really recommend doing so. 8.5 is the buggiest release in the history of Zimbra.

No line break in mobile version webmail

Occurs whenever using Standard HTML client + Compose-as-Text. Problem is actually that Zimbra flags the email's content as HTML even though actual contents are plaintext, so your client displays it wrong. Already have reported this bug to support along with a multitude of other 8.5 bugs. They ar...

Outlook crashes when synchronizing

Normal behavior for 8.0.7 Connector. That version is a complete and utter disaster.
There is an 8.0.8 beta version of the Connector that you can download on the support site. Or, you could move to Zimbra 8.5 and use its version.

ZCO 8.0.7 causes Outlook 2010 crash

I already have an active support case, it's been open for 13 days now. Haven't been informed of the existence of any pre-release connector.

Why does ZCO prevent rules from working?

Unless it's changed in recent years, Outlook rules are disabled by default with ZCO (though there's an option somewhere to re-enable them). You're supposed to use Zimbra Server Rules, which should appear as an option inside Outlook. For example, in Outlook 2007 I have two menu options: T...

ZCO 8.0.7 causes Outlook 2010 crash

Happens with Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013. Deleting all the Zimbra cache files in the Outlook data directory works for me, and then the user has to re-sync everything from the server. Using ZCO 8.0.7 is a horrible, horrrible idea right now and it's hard to believe there's no official announc...

How to upgrade from ZCS OSE 7.x to 8?

Most everything on the wiki is horribly out of date. For what you're trying to do, this is the current best page, according to both what I've seen, and Zimbra support:Ajcody-Notes-OS-Upgrade-And-ZCS-Options - Zimbra :: WikiI'd suggest the "Active ZCS partition/mount is able to be re...

Urgent! Emails from internal user are put in Junk Folder

You didn't post details, but chances are you need to turn off the "X-Originating-IP headers" in the Zimbra Admin Console. This just got bad fairly recently (6.0.6 I think? maybe 6.0.7). There's a bug about it:It's">https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=44384It's ...

Zimbra is spamming me (not really)

I received it tagged as spam as well, and I use the stock 6.0.7 rules.Fairly amusing, really. Sending out a newsletter that your own customers will likely never see because your own software classifies it as junk.6.0.7 also classifies its own "Daily mail report" nightly things as junk, as ...
