Zimbra Bind confusion

In Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Server (Hardy Heron) Install Guide - Zimbra :: Wiki, it instructs administrator to create 2 bind config files:
1. /etc/bind/db.mydomain.com

2. /etc/bind/db.xxx.xxx.xxx (Where "x" indicates the host id)
Isn't the host id the same as mydomain.com?
