i have tested the gal search right now, but it shows me old results. The sync interval is set to 1d. I haven't edited anything since 2 days.

after editing I have run "forcesync" for all datasources without success. But this command is the right one, isn't it?

Is it possible, that users can edit their contact data in GAL?

I have to add, that we want to use the GAL search to find these contacts. I guess a shared addressbook isn't the same. And thanks ccelis5215 for your reply! Maybe I don't understand what you want to tell. Sorry my English isn't quite good.

But how exactly? The addressbook InternalGAL (galsync@ourdomain.com) is shared. This is what I have done and this doesn't work :(
