This usually occurs when you have installed XULRunner for development purposes and it is overriding the embedded copy in ZD. If you have XULRunner in your PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variables try removing it.

For the best experience, you should be running ZD 7.1.2.If you are already on 7.1.2, you may want to monitor IO and CPU usage when ZD starts. You can change the skin, but not the font. I'm curious which version you are comparing the font to? AFAIK the font has been the same since 2.0.

If anyone has an environment where they are experiencing the failure they would be willing to share (either as a VM we can run, or via remote connection), it might help. We've tried a number of different configurations and can't find any way to reproduce the problem.

If you do this, be sure to also backup and then remove the data under C:/Users//AppData/Local/Zimbra. That should give you the equivalent of a clean install.
