Horrible security "patching"

> It would take distributing zimbra-core, which is a massive package full of a million different things. In case of such an security fix, most of these things would remain the same. Where's the problem ?> Installing a new version of this on top of an existing install could wreak havoc for custom...

Horrible security "patching"
As you yourself note, you've already asked this, and it has been answered, in the bug.
Not completely answered. But that's not the main issue here. You already have a build system, which creates packages. Even it's not yet suited for initial deploym...

SMIME => potential security risk !
If you have a problem to report then file a bug report,
It's not just a bug, it's a major design flaw - the whole approach is completely wrong.
that is the correct place for it and not these forums.
I&...

Where does Zimbra look for missing files?
I suggest you know what you're talking about before responding. The issues in 6.2 and earlier were related to serious kernel bugs, and have zero to do with packaging, etc.
I was referring to the original post about missing files / broken dependencies.

Any Interest in Implementing RAPPD-style Privacy Management?

I hope, you're aware, that such DRM stuff only works within a strictly enclosed and controlled environment. In other words: such an RAPPD-enforcing infrastructure must not allow such mails to leave the infrastructure - otherwise it's pretty useless.Basicly the problems as w/ all other DRM sy...

SMIME => potential security risk !
Instead of ranting in the forums you'd be far better providing a well described description and possible solution to the 'problem' in bugzilla, possibly an RFE.
Also did so quite some time ago. There's not much to explain, as it's pretty...
