zimbra desktop + no security = login/passwords cleartext over network?

Hmm, yes the green button does turn into "Accept". Not sure how I missed that.I recall now though that my earlier issue I was having that Zimbra Desktop was not actually getting any data from the server at all. It was just erroring out, but now it is getting data. While that may not be ver...

zimbra desktop + no security = login/passwords cleartext over network?

For the Zimbra Desktop 7.2.2 client it just says Invalid or Untrusted certificate, and lets me see the error. I am not presented with a way to trust the certificate.

zimbra desktop + no security = login/passwords cleartext over network?

I only know of this setting through a config file change, not a GUI option. Am I missing it? So far though the setting via the config file has not reliably worked, but I haven't rigorously tested it.

zimbra desktop + no security = login/passwords cleartext over network?

Zimbra Desktop does not accept our self-signed certs inherently, so a proposed solution in our environment is just not using a secure connection.
Does anyone know if this means the login/password are transmitted in clear or readable text at all when authenticating?

calendar invites + multiple calendars shared to you, default calendar to accept for

I'm not seeing any indication of the Calendar portion of the user's account being renamed. Any other ideas?

calendar invites + multiple calendars shared to you, default calendar to accept for

I have a user that has 3 full mailboxes shared to them, so that naturally includes the calendars for those mailboxes. When that user receives an invite for something, they have the ability to select which calendar it accepts for, but it always seems to default to a shared one, instead of their person...

zimbraPrefCalendarViewTimeInterval - am I using it right?

I'm trying to find the parameter where it changes how people view their calendar blocks of time. Currently hours are broken up into 30mins but some of our users want 15min blocks or lower.I found the parameter "zimbraPrefCalendarViewTimeInterval" and set it to 15m however it does not a...

zimbra + ad, auth and autoprovision, account used permissions?

Authentication looks like it can be done with a basic account, same one as above. Which actually seems like a security risk, but I don't understand kerberos well enough.
Hopefully someone finds this useful.

zimbra + ad, auth and autoprovision, account used permissions?

For autoprovision it looks like any user will do. I created a user and it is not part of any groups, and that user can be used to auto provision with.
I'm still looking into auth.
