Zimbra Collaboration Server + Godaddy domain

As long as you have a valid mx record that points to your server, and a matching A record for the server then where or how your dns is hosted is pretty much irrelevant.

Re: Incoming mail Subject is showing ..Dots

You have two choices. A) Learn to embrace and love the dot..... or .... B) Tell us a little about your setup. Stuff that might help us help you. Like what server version you are using, how your mail gets to your server, which log files you've looked in for answers and whether you've looked c...

Swap memory is being used while i have free RAM

Actually my point was more "why are you turning off swap?". The kernel will swap out pages that are rarely (if ever) touched, keeping ram free for caching files that are used more frequently. Disabling swap is actually forcing the machine to work harder, not making life easier for it. My z...

Swap memory is being used while i have free RAM

The linux swap algorithms are pretty finely tuned. If the OS is swapping stuff out in favor of other cached material it pretty much knows what it is doing. Playing with vm.swappiness is an ugly way to do it. Why not just turn swap off if you believe you know better than the kernel?

Very Disappointed

[quote user="nrc"] I'm a little concerned about Zimbra being completely at the mercy of the browser for spell checking, however. Once upon a time the option to force a spell check before sending a message was widely requested. Is that option rendered moot by browser spell checking?[/QU...
