How to obtain ZCO 8.0.7 ?
Actually there is another way. Grab the latest copy of ZCS Network edition, unpack the tar file to get to the packages. For example, our zcs 7.2.6 install has the OLK here : /opt/zimbra/jetty-6.1.22.z6/webapps/zimbra/downloads/ZimbraConnectorOLK_7.2.6.950_x86.msiThis is in package zimbra-store. So y...
That's sort of my thinking, but rather than remove the feature in an upcoming release and then find out someone was relying on it heavily, I'm asking around every time a related issue arises.
Maybe mark it as deprecated and scheduled for removal at ...
4) You're right that spell check functionality is limited. With the improvements to built-in spellcheck in the browsers, I've considered suggesting that remove Zimbra spellcheck in favor of using the spellcheck in the user's browser. That would mean th...

install without dns mx config?
I do this when I want to replicate my production system across to a test VM. I use dnsmasq on the server and tell the OS to use localhost as the resolver. That way it does not matter what the IP address is, nor the real hostname. The server always resolves itself to 127.0.0.1.I found using /etc/host...
and now it works. Thank you. I run zimbra in a VM too (OpenVZ) and when I installed I had to remove some packages to run the installer. Perhaps this may have been the cause.
It may well be. I've not experimented with containers. As I need a windows VM to r...

Zimbra don't start at boot
does /etc/init.d/zimbra exist? Is it executable?
do you have links to it from /etc/rc2.d ?
what runlevel does the machine come up in by default? Is zimbra set to start in that runlevel?
Is your cron job set to run as zimbra or root?
