Switching to RRDtool instead of Flash for monitoring graphs

Any chance we'll see RRDtool style graphing instead of Flash for the Zimbra Admin interface?

Haven't had or used Flash in many years ...

I realize graphs can also be generated using external services, but not everyone wants to submit monitoring data to an external service.

The zmprov mcf worked for us too, in Zimbra 8.8.12, where it was "by default" pointing to 9071 as well. Cheers :D

Re: Becoming Better

Glad to hear wheels are in motion :-) One of the (many) things I miss are updated documentation and Wiki articles. Things that don't say "Tested with Zimbra 5". Perhaps they still need to be there, but possibly moved to an archive of sorts. With the thousands (tens of thousands?) of config...

Upgrading from 8.7.11 to 8.8 screws up Postfix

I'm not sure how or why, but it seems like the install script isn't doing what it needs to do when upgrading. We've spent the better parts of rescuing a system that went T-U during an upgrade from 8.7.11 to 8.8.12. The installation was botched *after* upgrading the Unbutu 14.04.LTS system running 8....

Re: 8.7.11 to 8.8.12 fails on MySQL migration

After quite some time, I sat down and recreated the chat database by hand, using the SQL content of one of the migration scripts. This made the database integrity checks pass and the installation could continue. I have no idea why this wasn't handled by the install.sh script, but it wasn't, no matte...

Re: Zimbra won't shutdown - Stopping zimlet webapp fails

Still here in Release 8.8.12.GA.3794.UBUNTU16.64 UBUNTU16_64 NETWORK edition, Patch 8.8.12_P1 proxy. It does (finally) stop/re-start, but it takes *forever* ... I don't understand why something as critical as this isn't addressed in a patch considering it hits you every single time a restart or shu...

8.7.11 to 8.8.12 fails on MySQL migration

Everything in the upgrade was coming along nicely, until this: Upgrading from 8.7.11_GA_1854 to 8.8.12_GA_3794 Stopping zimbra services...done. This appears to be 8.7.11_GA Starting mysql...done. Checking ldap status...not running. Checking ldap status...not running. Starting ldap...done. Checking l...

Re: Zimbra Collaboration 8.7.x and Ubuntu OS update corrupts/removes Zimbra installation

What exactly does this mean

(install.sh)

Unknown Error. It should be impossible to reach this statement.

This is when attempting to recover from a corrupted Zimbra installation due to an OS upgrade (again).
