Re: mta in - mta out

If the users with an MUA try to send email via port 25 to any domain not already in Zimbra, the delivery will fail and the users will get a bounce. Zimbra's Postfix is not configured to do any authentication Port 25. So I would think the users who have misconfigured their SMTP (Outbound) server sett...

Notice: Zimbra 8.8.9 Released - 10 July 2018

Zimbra 8.8.9 has been released as a Stable GA release. A number of the new features include are however marked as Beta, and are therefore not supported in production environments. Further, the new ability to create "Centralized" stores I don't see documented (yet?) in the Admin Guide, Mult...

CBPolicyD Wiki Errata Note

I've been working with two customers on CBPolicyD, as well as having deployed it in my own multi-tenant Zimbra Hosting Farm (I'm a Zimbra Hosting Partner), and I thought it would be helpful to point out that the tuning section in the Certified wiki article, at least as it relates to Zimbra 8.8.x, ne...

Re: CSP for Zimbra 8.7.3

Old thread I know... but just in case folks are Googling for Zimbra CSP or Zimbra Content Security Policy there is this Certified wiki documentation with several links to Content Security Policy resources at the bottom.

https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Security/Collab/88

Hope that helps,

Let's start with the basics.

Re: Zimbra node starting up with errors. Please help

LDAP not starting like that but other Zimbra services starting is usually related to DNS. Zimbra’s LDAP needs to resolve itself via DNS; same for some other Zimbra sevices. Assuming you fixed your read-only filesystem and that you have some free space on the disk, go through the DNS checks you norma...

Re: Zimbra node starting up with errors. Please help

This is not a Zimbra issue. In my experience, when any Linux server starts up with the file system in read-only mode, it's because there has been an "event", like a power failure, or the disk gets full, or a disk cache controller failed, etc. The solution is either to start Linux in single...
