    Not for this version, but you can use your own icons if you want in Preferences->System Tray.
    Next one will may include transparent background, but the primary goals are make it work with SOAP.

    Will you update this thread when your new version (SOAP) is released? This would allow those who subscribe to this thread to be "easily" notified.

    In the meantime, many thanks for the existing version! It gives all of us linux users something which has been sorely missed (unless using a desktop client).

    Cheers,

    Anybody have any idea how I can make this play a sound when a mail comes in. I assume there is some command I can issue to do this?

    Thanks!

    First you need a software that can play audio files . For example: mplayer, vlc, mpg123 (aka mpg321)
    I use the last one.

    Then you need to edit Preferences -> External Commands -> Command to execute on new mail: and write the command to play the sound. My command is (without ""): "mpg123 ~/Musica/smokeonthewater.mp3"

    If anybody else needs ZimbraNotify to check all folders, not just the Inbox, here is the simple edit.

    On line 333 Change the mail uri to:
    Code:
    my $zimbra_mail_uri : shared = "/?fmt=atom&query=is:unread";
