    Default "Message Recall" feature.. supported?

Okay, so one of my users (okay, company officer) wanted to know if Zimbra supports the useless 'message recall' feature.

Does it? And has anyone ever known this to be a useful feature?

Works for me... I don't like the feature that much myself, and I'm happy just to tell him no.

Outlook has a message recall feature. It just sends an e-mail back asking if the sender can recall the message.

I knew someone who used it quite frequently.

Off the top of my head, I would go into the admin interface, click the recipient's account, and then use the button to view their mail and delete the offending item(s). However before doing anything like this I'd want to have explicit authorization by whoever actually owns the system (e.g. company president or an executive), as it is potentially an invasion of privacy and it isn't directly related to system maintenance.

Looks like the solution was to use a feature from Outlook to recall the message.

How does that actually work? Does it hook into a facility within Zimbra, or does it assume something about the recipient's mail client (such as that they're using Outlook)?
