Default [SOLVED] Emailing all in domain

Is there a built in group or address for emailing all in a domain similar to Communigate's all@domain.com? If not, is there an easier way to set up a group than adding all users 10 at a time in the admin web GUI?

There is not a default all@domain.com. If there were, it'd be in every spam directory in the world!

As for creating your own, you can either do them from the user admin console or using zmprov:
    • Create distribution list. The ID of the distribution list is returned.
    zmprov cdl listname@domain.com
    • Add a member to a distribution list. Tip: You can add multiple members to a list from the administration console.
    zmprov adlm listname@domain.com member@domain.com
The adding 10 at a time problem is an irritation, but if you put something like a "." or a "@mydomain.com" so that it lists all your addresses, you can click the "add all" button, then the "Next" button and "add all" again so they go fairly fast. I admit this would not seem so fast with a GAL of hundreds or thousands of addresses, however.

Oh, and by the way, if you're using "add all" be sure not to add your spam & ham training accounts--could lead to a mess!

I am not an expert at reading perl scripts, but I THINK the script on this wiki page may automate what you are requesting. See the script under the "Create Aliases" heading. This post looks a lot simpler and may also do the job. I have not tested either one.

Be aware, however, that any list you create is a valid email address from anywhere. That is, you can't (as of current versions) create an everybody@mydomain.com and then have that address only accept messages from mydomain.com. jerk@spammer.com will be able to send messages to everybody too.

    Cheers,

    Dan

    Thank you for the help.
I'm not sure how to label this as solved, but I consider it so.
