    Question Assp

I currently use ASSP as my method for spam filtering http://assp.sourceforge.net/

I don't want to have a debate about ASSP vs. spamassasin.

I am curious to know if anyone is using ASSP with Zimbra, and how, or if the Zimbra guys think it is possible or not.

From a quick look at their page I think you can just run this infront of Zimbra. They claim to support Postfix or any standard SMTP server so seems like that won't be a problem. I know there are several customers out there running other SPAM blockers or border MTA's in front of Zimbra so this should be the same thing.

That's pretty much what I thought...just wanted to hear it from someone in the know. I will give it a whirl and let you know for sure.

    Thanks!

We are currently using ASSP in front of Zimbra for spam blocking. However because we are using the web interface exclusively, we had to setup a mail relay server so that outgoing email from the web interface would update the ASSP whitelist. This process if documented fairly well on the ASSP Wiki.
