    Default Can't delete calender event

I can't delete a repeated calendar event. Zimbra sais:

msg: The specified Invite is out of date (has been updated): Invite id=15138-16469
    code: mail.INVITE_OUT_OF_DATE
    method: GetMsgRequest
    detail: soap:Sender
    trace: btpool0-27:1207126797983:521c9a96b16a6dbb

Does anyone know how to get rid of the event? The event is actually repeated forever for some reason. Really annoying...
    Thanks, Philipp

Does this happen when you delete the series or the single event?

This happens when I leave the mouse over the event (any instance) or when I doubleclick on it. When I try to delete (either series or single instance) Zimbra sais (translated): "Selected event was changed or doesn't exist any more."

    Default Delete Event manually?

Does anyone know if there is a way to access the data storage where calendar events are stored manually to delete this entry?
    Thanks, Philipp

    Default Similar Issue

I was having similar problem. Same type of error message and I'm not sure if it's the same. I had repeating calender events, usually set as "tentative", I'd confirm them and move specific instances to busy. If I changed the time slightly before saving, this wouldn't happen. But if I just changed the status (tentative, busy, etc) and saved, it won't let me delete, change, or modify them.

I'm having trouble reproducing the error on another calendar. But does this sound similar to your problem?

I can't reproduce the problem as I said... maybe it had something to to with syncing my calendars with Outlook. I'm going to try to keep reproducing the issue and if I do, I'll probably escalate it to my mail team and submit a bug.

    Default Delete mysql line?

I don't know how to reproduce. I can only say that it was an event sent from Microsoft Exchange originally.

Anyway, I had a look into mysql and I think I found the calendar event line in database "mboxgroup4", table "mail_item". Two questions:
    1. Am I right under the assumption that in this table type 11 is a calendar event?
    2. Is it safe to delete such a line from the table? Or are there dependencies?

    Does anyone know the answers?
    Thanks, regards,
    Philipp

Thus far, I've been successful with deleting events like these from third party apps like Thunderbird with Lightning (sync'ed via iCal). Once sync'ed, deleting the events seem to work, but haven't been able to delete them in Zimbra. And doing it this way prevents any manual deletion on the backend.

But you may want to wait for a Zimbra employee to get back to you and answer those specific two questions.

I've accessed the calendar following Thunderbird & Lightning - Zimbra :: Wiki. In Lightning, I was able to delete the event. The event was still visible in the Zimbra Web client. But then I was able to delete the event there, too. So the problem is solved. Thanks!
