I have a user who is reporting issues with the Web Client. Pages don't load completely, browser error messages. They use IE7, on a 3.0Ghz, 2GB Ram, 80GB HD WinXP PC.
The server is a Quad Core, Dual Core 2Ghz, with 4GB Ram, running CentOS 5.x, with Dual GB nics bonded round robin. Has two 750GB HDs in RAID 1.
The server only has 35 email accounts. Ranging from 10MB to 3.7GB in size. The user in question has the largest email account at 3.7GBs.
The network is 1GB
- Is this occuring because of the large email account at 3.7GB? Is there any limit on performance with large accounts?
- Is the cause IE7? Should I have the user try Firefox? Seams ajax works better in firefox?
- is there a way to optimize the email server, so it runs more efficient?
Any info is helpful...
