    Default Certificate

I installed Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0 on CentOS, after installation, when i use Outlook, the certificate message appears saying "The server you are connected to using a security certificate that cannot be verified.
The target principal name is incorrect"

    View Certificate
    Issued to "my domain"

    Issued by :my domain

    Valid from 2009 to 2014

what does it mean please? and how can i resolve this to not appear again.

    Thanks

Run command to verify your certificate on command line:-

    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr verifycrt <self|comm> [priv_key] [certfile]

    Default Very common in Windows...

when using a self signed certificate because the CA that created the certificate is not in the Root Certificate store in Windows. Since it can't verify the CA it is warning you. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your certificate. It may be possible to obtain the CA's certificate from the Zimbra install and import it into the Root Store. This worked in version 4.x.x of Zimbra but I have had trouble doing it with 5.x.x . So I just live with the warning.
