    Default [SOLVED] zimbra server down, not shoing webmail

    hi. can anyone point me to the right direction....all of a sudden my zimbra server stopped working. now if i try to start/restart httpd it shows the apache test page. i checked and zimbra is running but it is not displaying the login for webmail. how can i restore the webmail login, also for admin login?

    Just stop the Apache server you seem to have installed on the Zimbra server then disable it from starting at boot and restart Zimbra.

    i already tried shutting down httpd then restarting zmcontrol (that's how to restart zimbra right?)...but no luck...

    mailboxd is not running.
    zmmailboxdctl is not running
    Check /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log. I guess it may be a issue with either /etc/hosts or your DNS so please post the following
    Code:
    cat /etc/hosts
    cat /etc/resolv.conf
    dig yourdomain mx
    dig yourdomain any
    host `hostname` <- note backticks and not single quotes (type as is)

    they are all showing the correct IP. even if I try to view web interface via IP is not showing (however if I start httpd it loads the default apache test page meaning the ip is resolving correctly at the least)
