Default Zimbra on a Mac Mini, OSX binary or Linux install?

    Hi,
I'm contemplating deploying Zimbra on some Mac Mini's, mainly due
to their nice size. I'd like to know if I am best installing the Zimbra OSX
package or wipe off OSX and install Linux, and attempt to get one of the
    Linux packages working?
These boxes would all run headless.
This would be with the Intel bases iMacs.

Or would I be better forgetting about the nice macs and find some small form factor PC's which I can put CentOS on. Do you have any suggestions?

These setups would only be for small offices with 3 or 4 users max.

    Thanks
    Mike

You should know, OSX has some pretty low default settings...such as # of open files and number of concurrent processes per user(zimbra runs as zimbra user). I can't remember the numbers off the top of my head...plus, if it's only going to be 3 - 4 users per box, shouldn't be an issue.

So what you are saying is that for 3 to 4 users, OSX will be fine?

Or, read the sysctl man page and increase the number of processes and open files available.

And turn off spotlight, it kills performance.
