Default keyboard shortcut in mail composer

I have a quite funny problem.

In Mail Composer of the webmail "alt-L" ist the shortcut for the spell-checker.
But on a german Mac ist "alt-L" for the "@"-sign.

So its quite hard to send a mail to someone.

Any idea how to change the keyboard shortcuts?

In our next major release (currently slated for mid-Dec), shortcuts will be localizable, so you can just override that one in a properties file. They can be overridden by platform (eg Mac/Win/Linux) as well.

For now, you'll have to use the Spellcheck button.

Thx. Looking forward to the next release.
Just to be clear. Now the "@"-Sign is not working. So in the moment I need a "@" Button. The shortcut for the Spell Checker overrides the “@".

If just the shortcut for the spell checker is not working it would be a minor bug. But if you cant write a @ in a email program its realy a problem.

The German Mac uses Alt combos for printable characters? Crikey. In that case, there's no simple solution. If you have access to the source code, edit the file

    .../ZimbraWebClient/WebRoot/js/zimbraMail/share/model/ZmKeyMap.js

and comment out the line with "Alt+L" in it (as well as any others with Alt combos that produce printable characters).
