I write my problem here, as it is in connection with Outlook, and I didn't find any common error thread (I hope it is not a problem, if yes, please move it to the appropriate thread).
My problem is: in Outlook (2003, 2007) the mail don't synchronyze, it says different error codes (both in pop3 and imap), it seems that it cannot connect to the server, like connection lost, cannot reach the server, etc. The MS error codes are not too helpful (0x800ccc0e for imap for example), as the solution is always a network failure. But not for me... If I set up for example a Thunderbird on the same computer, it works flawlessly with both imap and pop3. I can also watch the mail via web, so the connection works. What was interesting, that I had to reinstall one of the pc's, and after a clean install, it works with outlook.. (but I cannot reinstall every computer)
I know it is not a Zimbra problem, but I hope that someone heard about that or experienced the same problem.
We have Zimbra 7.1.0 on Ubuntu 10
We have other Zimbra servers (at other companies), but with older versions (6), and there are no problem with imap & outlook, so it seems for me, that there is some compatibility problem? I reinstalled outlook, set the mailbox again, but the error is still there.
I have contacted with our Zimbra administrator, but he didn't see any information in the logs - as the connection didn't work, it is not a surprise btw.
