Default Stick Usage in IE 9

When users are composing in Internet Explorer 9 the window seems to "Freeze" if you will. You can't click on any of the buttons at the top namely Send or Cancel or click your cursor to a new location it the composition box. But if you minimize the window and bring it back up or do anything like click the start button where it causes the whole screen to refresh then it "unlocks" so to speak. It is like the whole window will not respond to mouse commands.

This could possible be an Internet Explorer issue and not a Zimbra issue but any help tracking this out would be appreciated.

It is doing it on a wide range of Windows 7 Pro systems. Even high spec systems.

I would suggest you to use other browsers if possible.

Did you find a resolution for this? I have several users reporting the same problem. Switching to another browser is not really an option...

Have you tried compatibility mode? I asked my users to try it, but have not received feedback yet.

There is a compatibility mode in IE itself.

    We are using https only.

We recently upgraded from ZCS 6.0.x to 7.2 and our users have been experiencing this issue as well. Kind of glad I found this thread. I had searched the forums for this issue but came up empty; probably didn't hit upon the right keywords. We have a mix of Windows XP and 7 systems, with IE 7, 8, and 9. I have had reports of this issue from all combinations, so I don't think it is strictly an IE 9 issue. I'm going to open up a bug report for it, but unfortunately I haven't stumbled upon any way to consistently reproduce the issue.

I have not heard back from any users since I asked them to use compatibility mode in IE. We also recently upgraded - from 7.1.3 to 7.2.0.
