Thread: Arrow keys do not work

    So, multiple users, multiple PC's connecting to the same Zimbra server. Do you have any "non-standard" zimlets deployed? Do you have any other applications installed that might be "stealing" the arrow keys?

    com_zimbra_emailtemplates (Allows users to insert Email Templates)
    com_zimbra_p11_request_read_receipt (Zimlet to manage request read receipt)
    com_zimbra_stickynotes (Add a sticky note to email messages)

    I tried to disable them from my account, but nothing has changed.
    Have I to uninstall them from the server?

    No (I thought about firerox "Find As You Type" feature and I try to disable it, but nothing has changed)

    I would think disabling the zimlets for an account would be sufficient for testing. I use Email Templates and Sticky Notes, so I don't think those two are the problem. Can't speak to the Read Receipt one.

    Maybe try creating a new test account. Make it as basic as possible. I'm not really sure what this will do, but just trying to think of other things to try.

    Also, do the other keyboard shortcuts that function the same as the arrow keys work? For example, when viewing a list of messages, in addition to the down arrow key going to the next message, the "J" and "SPACE" keys are supposed to do the same thing. Do these other keys work correctly?

    In my ubuntu I had installed ZD without extra zimlet, so no browser or zimblet problems: no one keys work...

    I just try the Zimbra demo (Live demos of Zimbra's open source email and group calendar software) and here the keys work fine!

    In COS you must emable "Enable keyboard shortcuts".

    Solved.
