I transferred my outlook 2002 .pst files on a thumb drive to a new laptop (XP).
Somehow, while I was able to copy all of my files and put them in a "personal folder", a second personal folder got created as well. That folder can't be opened and when I try to delete it I get a message saying "The path specified for the file E:\backup Outlook.pst is not valid". So I tried putting the thumb drive back in hoping I could delete the extraneous folder but to no avail.
Each time I open Outlook I get the "The path specified for the file E:\backup Outlook.pst is not valid" message. I delete the message and can run the application just fine but there is something not right about that extraneous folder and I'd like to get rid of it.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
