    Default imap/pop settings

    I am trying to set up outlook on my computer to imap or pop my zimbra account as I like my emails locally.
    I cannot find your imap or pop settings, I have looked online, on the forums and everywhere else I could.
    I was using thunderbird until it kept freezing up so I am using outlook and the settings I had in thunderbird aren't working. I need imap and pop settings also any other pertinent information like does it require secure authentication. here is a copy of error message.

    Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication. Account: 'Palmer Mail', Server: 'webmail.va1.emailserver.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "your imap or pop settings", The ports are the same ports used by any other mail server and are listed here.

    These forums are for support for people that have installed the Zimbra Collaboration Server and we do not provide support for the individual mail server users, I'd suggest you contact the mail administrator of the company that provides your service - they should be able to help you fix the problem.
