No idea how upgrade performs under FreeBSD so please be cautious! It might not work as expected. There are no post-upgrade FreeBSD package scripts!
Please, let me know how that goes. I will adjust stuff accordingly.

Somebody
can past the sudoers file to me compare ?

thanks.[/QUOTE]

this has (or at least should not have) nothing to do with that sudo stuff as new packages are already patched and i am running the very same packages on my mail server.

besides, that sudo stuff would not emerge this kind of problem.
there are, however, 2 possible options:

a) i forgot something and the package does not work for you,

b) you did something wrong.
could you, please tell me what versions of sudo and bash you are using atm?

# pkg_info | grep bash

# pkg_info | grep sudo

and grep this for me as well:

# grep sudo /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl
/usr/ports/shells/bash should pick up bash4.

could you, please, contact me on icq to resolve this interactively?
thanks.

Yes, sure -
# pkg_info | grep bash
pkg_info | grep bash

bash-4.0.35 The GNU Project's Bourne Again SHell
# pkg_info | grep sudo
pkg_info | grep sudo

sudo-1.7.2.2 Allow others to run commands as root
# grep sudo /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl
grep sudo /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl

$SU = "sudo -u zimbra -i -- -lc ";
The install was clean (now i have other softwares installed now like lusca, webmin).

FreeBSD 8 AMD64 + ZFS has root filesystem.

ZCS 6.x ported to FreeBSD

Postby solko » Mon Feb 08, 2010 11:42 am

solved via:

# pkg_delete -f sudo-1.7.2.2

# pkg_info | grep sudo

# pkg_add sudo-1.6.9.20.tbz

(from my production zimbra server)
obviously new sudo does not work the way the old one did..
any hints?

6.0.4 requires /usr/ports/devel/icu.

builddeps picked it up, rundeps did not. changed zimbra-rundeps to include icu.
