Gert, it appears from this and previous posts that there's some kind of disconnect in the naming of your box, as far as ZCS is concerned. I see that ZCS thinks the local hostname is zimbra.gtds.lan, which is in your /etc/hosts, so resolution shouldn't be a problem. The way that the monitor daemon starts, but doesn't start any services, makes me think that the host wasn't configured in ldap correctly.
Can you take a look at the output of 'zmlocalconfig zimbra_server_hostname' and verify that it matches "zimbra.gtds.lan"?
If it does, can you start ldap manually (su - zimbra; ldap start) and verify that the hosts are configured correctly? The command is:
zmprov gas # Get All Servers
if zimbra.gtds.lan is listed, do
zmprov gs zimbra.gtds.lan
and look for the zimbraServiceEnabled and zimbraServiceInstalled attributes (and zimbraServiceHostname, too). At the least, you should see the ldap service, but the full suite is: ldap, mailbox, mta, antivirus, antispam, snmp.
If ldap doesn't start, there are major problems with the install - if you have the install log around, (/tmp/install.log.), that may shed some light on the situation.
