[SOLVED] Zimbra 8.6 to zimbra 8.7: "Some services are not running"

Postby sempiterna » Sun Nov 06, 2016 3:35 pm

Hi,

I've just upgraded my Zimbra Open Source 8.6 to 8.7.1. The upgrade went well, however, in the adminpanel it now states that "Some services are not running". The server status monitor shows that all services of my mailserver are running on my "mail.host.name", but since the upgrade there now also exists a "localhost" mailserver. All services of that "localhost" server are not running. Executing "zmcontrol status" also shows all services running.

What could be causing this, and how to possibly solve this?

Also, in the "Advanced Statistics" window, the "loading data for chart..." message exists indefinitely without showing any charts. Charts in other windows (Server Statistics and AntiSpam) show up fine.

Thanks for pointing me in the correct direction with "zmloggerhostmap". That command indeed showed the localhost entry. Removed it using:

zmloggerhostmap -d localhost localhost

Found a wiki article for it when searching for zmloggerhostmap:

I did an identical upgrade this morning and had the exact same problem you mentioned. FWIW, resetting the logger db cleared both those problems you mentioned including that second set of weird local entries for the gui status which surprised me as I hadn't seen that one before. ;-) I was on a patched centos 6+ host.
