missing libreoffice-headless

Postby krahni » Mon Dec 19, 2016 9:05 am

hi,
i am doing a fresh install on centos 7 64 ...
during installation it says missing libreoffice and missing libreoffice-headless
when installed newest libreoffice 5.x install-routine is still missing libreoffice-headless
when installed latest libreoffice 4.x install-routine is missing both

may i install the newest and the store-document-handling will work and it's just a failure in the install.sh?

It seems to be a bug in the installer: starting with LO 5 there's no more extra rpm libreoffice-headless.
Former LO v4 rpm provided only 2 files: /usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/libbasebmplo.so and /usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/libvclplug_svplo.so
In Libreoffice 5.x libbasebmplo.so comes with rpm libreoffice-core and libvclplug_svplo.so doesn't exist anymore.
The installer script utilfunc.sh is looking for "libreoffice-headless" - this is hard-coded starting at line 2635

Code: Select all

if [ $PLATFORM = "RHEL6_64" -o $PLATFORM = "RHEL7_64" ]; then
   STORE_PACKAGES="libreoffice libreoffice-headless"
fi

This should be changed however to match the different version of RHEL/CentOS 6 and 7.
You may safely ignore the warning- Precision Preview will work.
