Unable to retrieve Zimbra GPG key for package validation

Postby kaiszza » Fri Apr 20, 2018 3:58 pm

Hey folks,
I will try to keep this as clear as possible. Following case:

- installed Univention corporate server on a local vserver so that I can test ZIMBRA Collaboration Server
- read that you need docker to get ZIMBRA running on the UCS
- installed docker using this guide: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Deploy_Zim ... ing_docker
- followed the instruction to install the ZIMBRA stuff (docker run -p 25:25 etc.)
- first error: it says that most of the ports are already "in use"
- removed the port command and ran the rest of the code
- second (and most annoying) error: Unable to retrieve Zimbra GPG key for package validation
- tried the 2 solutions offered by the official ZIMBRA forum (opening port 11371 and forcing to get the key through port 80) - both didnt work

So now I almost tried everything, but nothing seems so work. Anyone had a similar problem and managed to solve it?

Best regards,

kaiszza

Why not install ZCS on a supported distribution such as CentOS7, you'll have fewer problems. :)

If you'd like to see this implemented in a future version of ZCS then please vote on Bugzilla entries 97706 & 108168

Hey, thanks for the reply. I did as you suggested and installed the whole thing on Ubuntu 16.04. Worked like a charm ;)
Unfortunately, another issue occured. I opened another thread regarding the problem concerning a (I guess) DNS configuration problem..
