import wildcard cert - unable to get issuer certificate

I'm trying to import a wildcard cert, but no matter how hard I try I cannot get it to use it.
I have the key, I have the public cert, I have the combined cert for two intermediate certs and the root cert as the last cert in the file.
I've checked for hidden characters in the ca file, but can't find anything wrong with it.
I get the following error when I try to verify the cert with zmcertmgr:
I'm very much out of ideas. Please help?
