[Solved] Set mailbox size by script?

Postby pbrunnen » Thu Feb 27, 2014 10:29 pm

Hello all,

I am trying to automate overriding my COS value and defining a new mailbox quota on a per account basis. I have been searching around and I found several ways to retrieve the value, but nothing so far on how to set the value.
I expect this is simply an LDAP attribute... but I can't seem to figure out how to get there.
Any thoughts without having to go direct to the LDAP?
Thanks!

-Cheers, Peter.

Did you try setting the attribute zimbraMailQuota with zmprov command?
zmprov ma abc@example.com zimbraMailQuota 1000
Note that the quota value would be in MB.

Hi sviriyala,

Doh! Ok, that would have been the obvious way to do it. ;)

Not sure why I couldn't find that on the wiki, but it works like a charm.

FYI... the value is in bytes.
Thanks!
