Zimbra Web interface not working after migration

Postby Goelsac » Sun Sep 14, 2014 1:30 am

Hi All,

I am trying to migrate my Zimbra OSE to a new server. After rsync the data and setting the necessary permissions all Zimbra services seems to work fine but I am not able to load the administration  and user Web interface,  also none of  the zmprov commands are working. Can anybody help me?

command : zmprov ca xxx@xxxx,com xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Error Received:   ERROR: zclient.IO_ERROR (invoke Read timed out, server: localhost) (casue: java.net.SocketTimeoutException Read timed out)

Any help in this regard shall be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Sachin

Zimbra Web interface not working after migration

Are you seeing any errors in mailbox.log? You should also run /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms -extended as root.

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply.

Below are the last 100 lines of mailbox.log. Currently zmfixperms command is running I shall update you once the command gets over.

It looks like it can't talk to mysql. Make sure mysql is running and listening on 127.0.0.1:7306. Also see if typing 'mysql' as zimbra gets you into mysql or gives an error.

Zimbra Web interface not working after migration

Hi,

In my case the problem was resolved after final rsync with zimbra services off on the source server. It took about 45 mins and all problems resolved miraculously.

I also have exactly the same problem. Does anyone know how to export the mailbox if you can no longer access both the web login and web console? I can attest that the mailbox database itself is intact. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
