Hi all !
Zimbra is an amazing mail server and i'm very happy with it, and my users also.
but, Zimbra has a lot of javasscript and css files.
Just like an ordinary apache server, we can compress those files making the server response a lot faster.
I wonder if we can make zimbra http server compress those files also (if not already done by default).
Is there any hack or configuration we can do so zimbra can compress those files and making the responses faster ?
Cheers,
Bruno Santos

Are you talking about the scripts themselves, or the actual data? AFAIK, the scripts are already compressed (I see several js.zgz files). However, there is still some inline javascript left. Also, there is the batchInfoResponse var which seems to be the initial json data.

Would be interesting to see if Google's new mod_pagespeed would make a difference with a generic Zimbra install.
