Zimbra Integration with AD
Hi mrsaqib, what sort of "integration" are you trying to achieve?
If you mean all the AD user accounts being visible in Zimbra as mailboxes, then this is not an automatic process - accounts have to be created manually. Only the authentication of existing accounts (and global address list) can be handled via AD/LDAP.

Zimbra Integration with AD
hi
Sir, as u said 'mail box creation and user authentication' from Active Directory, i have achieve that thing but now my requirement is to automate the process of syncing of accounts b/w Zimbra and Active Directory.
Creating accounts manually is not a very healthy approach, in my humble opinion.
Is there any way to automate the process of syncing of accounts, and automatic creation of these accounts from Active Directory to Zimbra?
Is these any bash or perl script available for that?
Await for your reply.
Thanks and Regards.

Zimbra Integration with AD
Indeed, with AD usually containing hundreds and thousands of accounts, it's a task that should most definitely be automated.
Have a look at this basic example written in Python to give you an idea of how it can be achieved.

Zimbra Integration with AD
hi
Thanks for the help and script.
Now allow me sometime to work on the script, and then i will give you an update after working on it.
Again, a bundle of thanks for the help.
Another issue that i am facing, regarding Zimbra is i want to 'seperate attachments from email messages' and 'want to store them(attachments) somewhere else (separate from emails, they belong) e.g. a web-server directory accessible by http or https'. Now can i achieve this using any script? Kindly give me any clue.
Thanks and Regards.

Zimbra Integration with AD
Regarding the attachments - I see two issues here. 1) Deleteing an attachment from a received message; and 2) having it stored somewhere else.
Issue 1 has been addressed in bug 233 - Ability to remove attachment from received message, which will be available in the next release - ZCS 6.0.2.
As for your second issue, this is not currently supported. A workaround for this would be to use the Briefcase feature. A user can save attachments to the briefcase and then delete the attachment from the message (as above - from 6.0.2 onwards). The briefcase can be shared and accessed via HTTP.
