[SOLVED] Zimbra 5.0 - Convert certificate from .pem to .der

Postby mlanner » Wed Nov 28, 2007 7:39 pm

Hi,
I'm trying to set up and test various Nokia E-series mobiles with Zimbra 5.0. I've got everything right (I think), but then the Mail for Exchange shuts down because of an "unknown certificate." I use a self-signed cert, so I was expecting this could be a problem since I've experienced the same thing with Nokias with Exchange servers with self-signed certs. Anyway ...
I tried to follow the setup instructions on the Wiki (Nokia E61/E62 With Self-Signed SSL Certificate - Zimbra :: Wiki), but I guess the CA is not stored in the same folder in 5.0 as in 4.5.x.
Aside from not being able to locate the certificate folder, I assume the procedure would be the same as described on the Wiki?
If someone could post the path the CA folder, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

[SOLVED] Zimbra 5.0 - Convert certificate from .pem to .der

So, after digging around a bit more I found the CA directory. It's under:
/opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/ca
... in Zimbra 5.0 (RC2)
The instructions of how to convert it didn't quite work either, at least not logged in as zimbra.
I've updated the Wiki with the steps I took to get the certificate downloaded to an E61i.
