I have a new install of Zimbra 8.5.0_GA_3042.FOSS (build 20140828192005). Since the start, I have been unable to duplicate COS. I get the following message:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.
I then stop the script and the Creating COS window appears, but never goes away and the COS does not get created.
If I choose debug script the following line is highlighted:
Line Content: var n=s&&s.match&&s.match(/.*"(w+Request)"/);
I have also found that it will crash my browser at times. The only way to get a new COS is to create from scratch.
Has anybody else encountered this and if so, have you managed to fix it and if so, would you share your fix?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem and if have found follow workaround:
zmprov copyCos default <newCosName>
After complete, you found a new COS.
Have you use upper charakter for the COS name? Only lower charakter was acceptet as name.
