Disable zimbraMtaBlockedExtensionWarnRecipient to use header_checks

Postby Fabio S. Schmidt » Fri May 29, 2015 1:23 pm

Hi, I'm deploying some header_checks as our friend Imanudin posted :http://imanudin.net/2015/01/14/adding-subject-and-attachment-information-on-the-log-zimbra-8-58-6/

I'm using Zimbra 8.6.0 with Patch 2 and I have noticed that to enable the header_checks it is necessary to set zimbraMtaBlockedExtensionWarnRecipient to false. Is this the right behaviour? Maybe I am misunderstanding something, I mean, perhaps with this parameter set to TRUE it would warn every message.

Disable zimbraMtaBlockedExtensionWarnRecipient to use header_checks

It would appear to be necessary for using header check but I've never used them myself. Is this for the same reason as mentioned in the article, using zmmsgtrace? If it is, have you considered using an archiving solution?

Hi phoenix,

The reason is that we are deploying an email tracking solution and is very important to us to use these informations.

Thanks for the answer !
