Hi
I had similar problem. After upgrde to zcs-8.7.0_GA_1659.UBUNTU12_64.20160628202549.tgz on ubuntu 12.04 amavisd stopped working properly.
I debuged this by putting amavis foreground:

Code: Select all

/opt/zimbra/common/sbin/amavisd -X no_conf_file_writable_check -c /opt/zimbra/conf/amavisd.conf debug

Each passing by amavis mail produced this error:
/opt/zimbra/common/sbin/amavisd (ch1-08688-01): symbol lookup error: /opt/zimbra/common/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0: undefined symbol: EVP_aes_128_cbc_hmac_sha256

EVP_aes_128_cbc_hmac_sha256 symbol is shipped in /opt/zimbra/common/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0, but amavisd was using library from ubuntu 12.04
libssl1.0.0: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcrypto.so.1.0.0

My workaround was to path /opt/zimbra/bin/zmamavisdctl

Code: Select all

Thanks Marek! I've filed Bug 106361 to get this fixed.
