@phoenix : you're right. But he had posted some lines which were showing that the LDAP service was running but without abilities to connect to.
So my purpose was to know if the ldap was still OK with credentials and if we could parse it.

PS: my posts have time problem.

That "ldapsearch status" command gives the same result if ldap is running or not, doesn't it?

Not sure which logs I should also try to check for this.
Or hot to try and get it back online currently any emails to our site bounce right back.

LDAP won't start for some weird reason. I already changed the password and everything yet it's still failing. :(

Hello,

Have you backup ldap data before ? I think ldap data was corrupted.

I don't believe that it was backed up before hand.

It looks like ldap is corrupt however I'm not sure how we should go about trying to fix it. I tried running a few commands and took a backup before doing any of those.

/usr/sbin/slapd_db_recover: No such file or directory
BDB2525 No log files found

Hopefully we can figure out how to fix it today or I'll have to switch over to Office 365 or something else which I'd rather not do. :(

It seems you have you have a single with no backup, so if you do the same thing with another solution I think the result will be the same.
So if you really do not want to switch and want to get back your server up with its data, O mus recommand one :
- do not come here and ask for professional services

Ideally I'd like to get what I had back up online and look at setting up a slave for it so we don't run into issues again in the future :)

zmcontrol status
Search error: Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Unable to determine enabled services. Cache is out of date or doesn't exist.

I keep getting stuck on this part here. Certs look to be up to date and good until 2020 as well.

db_recover -v -h /opt/zimbra/data/ldap/
