The zimbra user password

As I also use WinSCP to browse my Linux servers, I wanted an easy way to dig into logfiles in Zimbra.
But that is not possible as the /opt/zimbra/log is owned solely by the zimbra-user.

I am not that familiar with Linux just to use the password function, guessing it would screw things up bigtime.
So what could I do using WinSCP to view logfiles on Windows?
Just reset the password for user "zimbra"?

Either set the password to something you know (zimbra never uses the Unix password for anything) or adding an ssh key to the authorized_keys file.

You should have installed it as root, so you should have its credentials. If you feel enough confident/safe use that, possibly with public key auth
