Remove MTA

Dear All,

Please, your help with the following situation I have a Zimbra CS 8.6 divided in 3 nodes Mailbox, MTA and LDAP. I want to remove the current MTA to add a new one after because I am changing the hardware.

What should I do to remove safely this MTA from my cluster. I looked for this on the net. However, I couldn't find this info.

Hello,

first you should install a new Zimbra MTA then reconfigure the routing of the mail to isolate the old Zimbra MTA.
When is done stop the old one and check evrything is OK (no more mail coming out or in for the this server). After
a period time, delete the server from the Zimbra Cluster.
