[SOLVED] Shared address book - auto complete does not work

Postby ivica.glavocic » Mon Oct 15, 2018 9:21 am

Hi all

When I share address book as read only with members of distribution list, autocomplete of addresses from that shared AB does not work until I change option in user's preferences Autocomplete - Include addresses in shared contacts
Since we have 200 users, can it be done for all users at once?

Thanks, regards
Ivica

As much as I hate to answer myself, since there is no response so far, here is a solution:

Goal is to activate Preferences - Contacts - Autocomplete - Include addresses in shared contacts

Property we need here is zimbraPrefSharedAddrBookAutoCompleteEnabled

Query status: zmprov ga user@domain.tld | grep zimbraPrefSharedAddrBookAutoCompleteEnabled
COS activate: zmprov modifyCos default zimbraPrefSharedAddrBookAutoCompleteEnabled TRUE
Users activate: zmprov modifyAccount user@domain.tld zimbraPrefSharedAddrBookAutoCompleteEnabled TRUE

Replace user@domain.tld with actual user and default with COS in use.

Please mark problem as sovled.

You can edit your post and change the tile if you want to do that.
