AFAIK, the NG modules should be installed with the NE install unless you answered "N" and didn't install them: https://blog.zimbra.com/2018/01/install-zimbra-collaboration-8-8-ubuntu-16-04-lts/.

You then need to initialise them: https://zimbra.github.io/installguides/8.8.9/single.html#Zimbra-Network-NG-Modules-first-steps-guide

This used to happen in earlier versions. Undeploying and redeploying the zimlets, followed by a flush zimlet cache and a mailbox restart worked for me.

Hope that helps,
Mark

Hi,

I faced something similar when upgrading some customers to 8.8.12. Take a look at "issue 8" here viewtopic.php?t=65924. Basically, you need to see how this is configured "zmprov gacf zimbraNetworkModulesNGEnabled" (you'll also need to check that at a server level). Maybe this is what's happening to you?
