Error on XML attachment preview

Postby serverdoin » Wed Aug 28, 2019 6:49 pm

Hello,

I'im using Zimbra 8.8.12_GA_3817.FOSS and I'm having trouble opening XML attachments within Zimbra Webmail Client. I'm receiving the following error:

Code: Select all

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 2 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

If a open the content provided by Zimbra, I get the following declaration:

Code: Select all

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>

I've tested the same situation under Zimbra 8.7 and I could successfully open the file without any errors. Any other previous version of Zimbra also work as expected. Is there any special configuration needed in the new version?

Thanks in advance!!

It also occurs in the version FOSS 8.8.15 last patch. Could you fix it?

The problem is not the internal preview of Zimbra, it is the preview by the browser itself when you click on the XML attachment, this problem does not occur when you have a PDF attachment, for example. If this same attachment is downloaded and opened by the same browser, it is viewed normally. . In Zimbra 8.7 this problem did not occur.
