Fresh install doesn't work! (multiserver)

Postby OdinAbbas » Sun Aug 30, 2020 11:25 am

So I have a fresh multi-server install, with one being pure ldap and the other being everything else. Have tried with and without proxy enabled.

During configuration the server can connect with LDAP and verify the passwords.

However, there is no web interface available after installation and when trying to restart services it states that the ssl certificate verify failed when connecting to ldap master.

I've tried regenerating the ssl certificate and setting zmlocalconfig -e ssl_allow_untrusted_certs=true, no change.

If it's not this error then it's another error stating that it couldn't verify ldap running services.

/etc/hosts is correct. ทางเข้า ufabet

I have a Support Case open for this same error when trying to build two LDAP MMR nodes (the first two nodes in a multi-store environment) and have appended your post to my case.

Something changed in the last 60 days I believe; I conduct the 3-Day Zimbra Certified Admin training and two months ago this worked fine. There was no training last month, and this month (I had two sessions this month) there was no way to get this to work with self-signed certificates, except by running:

Code: Select all

zmlocalconfig -e ssl_allow_untrusted_certs=true
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmldapmmrtool -u -o 100 -t off

on both LDAP nodes, restarting LDAP, and then exporting and importing the LDAP and LDAP access databases from one of the MMR nodes to the other, per

If you have Network Edition, please open a Support Case and mention my case # 01053405.

All the best,
