On many messages the zimbra interface fails to wrap the text of each line and causes the user to scroll side to side constantly to read an email. Any ideas?

I've seen this at times as well. If you can get a case to reproduce please file a bug.

Same issue - message text (using web interface) - each paragraph is on one line.
Here is info from the relevant email header:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Sender is using Hotmail.
We are using zcs-NETWORK-3.1.4_GA_518.RHEL4.

I">http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5869
I added my vote. One of my users is having to often scroll the email windows far to the right to read the long lines of text. He's using Firefox 2.0.0.1 under Windows XP SP2.

Has there been any movement on this bug (yes, I already voted for it) ? I am still getting issues running OSS edition 4.5 and Firefox 2x
not sure what to tell the users on this one?

What do you mean by 'movement'? It's being worked on if that's what you mean, did you look at the bug report?

I guess to rephrase better, are there any guesses as to when fixes for this issue will be released?

OK, in that case the important information is the Target Milestone. That's the release that the fix is targeted for, in this case it's Franklin which is the next major release due this Summer (third quarter). You can see that it's assigned and not resolved yet - decisions to include a bug are, of course, subject to other considerations.

Ok wonderful, I didn't know about that site, I will def make sure I check it before asking any similar questions.
On my specific instance of this issue, below is the origional message that dose not get wrapped properly (ie: one long line). What do the "=" mean? Any thoughts on how I could keep them from being included when the message is composed? All the clients are using the web interface (and Firefox 2.x) to compose the message.

Also, i have noticed that when the bworser loads the message, for a split second it wraps it correctly before it moves it all back onto one line.
Any help is greatly appreciated
