Restrict external mail to some users ONLY

Postby VictorMedina » Wed May 24, 2006 9:33 am

Hello!
I am facing this problem. I need to grant access to external mail to some users and restrict sending emails to external domains to others. is there a way to do this under zimbra? I tried creating a class of service but i could not be able to do so. Any advice on how to do it?
Best Regards

Restrict external mail to some users ONLY

Hi,
As mentioned, to restrict external email I've used this article:
Restrict sending to certain domains - Zimbra :: Wiki
So far OK. Restricction applies perfectly.
Would it be possible to create some sort of exception just for 3 users that require outgoing email access?
Thanks in advanced.
Regards,

Joel.

Restrict external mail to some users ONLY

Let me explain myself a little better:
I have 200 users.
I want these 200 users to be restricted so they can only send emails to:
@example1.com

@example2.com

@example3.com
This is working correctly with the above article.
Next, I need an exception for user@example1.com to be able to override this restriction and send to any internet domain. (Or more exactly, to name@externaldomain1.com and name2@externaldomain2.com)
Thanks again!
Joel.
