Ok, I had that running as well. Selecting other phone numbers (mobile,etc) doesn't work for you either?

For those of you interested in having the Plugin to call in the appropriate order, i.e., Call you first, then your contact. Edit asterisk.js from com_zimbra_asterisk.zip on or about line 519
change:

var reqParam = 'to=' + finalto + '&from=' + from + '&uname=' + uname + '&pass=' + pass;
to:

var reqParam = 'to=' + from + '&from=' + finalto + '&uname=' + uname + '&pass=' + pass;
This will call you first, then ring your party.
One caveat, is that the popup notifications are backwards on the bottom left corner.

Splat. Does the sip user/pass have access to the number you are trying to dial within the dialplan?

I need my Asterisk Zimlet to allow different domains or users to point to different asterisk boxes.
My understanding is that this only allows for pointing to a single Asterisk Box.
Please advise.

Asterisk 1.4 has nice feature, Asterisk Manager via AJAX. I think it will be very easy to integrate it with zimbra.

I've been trying to follow the the instructions on the wiki and I'm not having much success.

My asterisk box is 10.1.1.40 and my Zimbra box is 10.1.1.50. Now matter how many times I try the steps, I can never get the zimlet to actually change the server address from the 192... address.

Is there another way to go about this?

hmmm - tried this, but didn't change the action of the zimlet... Here's what I did...
cd /opt/zimbra/zimlets

mkdir com_zimbra_asterisk

unzip com_zimbra_asterisk.zip

*** Edit asterisk.js as noted above ***

zip -r com_zimbra_asterisk com_zimbra_asterisk

su - zimbra

zmzimletctl undeploy com_zimbra_asterisk.zip

zmzimletctl deploy com_zimbra_asterisk.zip

zmzimletctl config cfg.xml

tomcat restart

What did I miss?

Wonder what current status is?
I would love to integrate Asterisk with ZCS.
Marc are you still advancing this or should I stay away?
